Chelsea Triumphs Over Fulham in Premier League Clash, Thomas Lampard and Olivier Giroud Score for Blues

Chelsea defeated Fulham 2-1 in a thrilling Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.

The Blues got off to the perfect start when Timo Werner opened the scoring after just five minutes with a well-taken finish from close range.

However, Fulham were not to be denied as they levelled things up through a goal from Aleksandar Mitrovic shortly before half-time.

But Chelsea came roaring back in the second half with goals from both Thomas Lampard and Olivier Giroud to secure all three points.

Lampard's first-half strike was a superb finish that saw him curl the ball into the top corner from distance.

Giroud then added another late in the game to ensure Chelsea maintained their lead in the table.

It was a well-deserved win for the Blues who now sit third in the Premier League table.
